We are kicking off this fund with our own donation of £5000, we hope you can give a little too.

With your help, Tameside Taxis would like to thank our local NHS heroes for their brave endeavours in treating the sick and vulnerable during these current challenging times. It breaks our hearts to hear of the men and women in the front line becoming sick, or worse. We know it is not a lot in return but we'd like to say thanks in whatever way we can. Many of our drivers are elderly themselves and shielding but thankfully we still have many drivers available who are doing a remarkable job of keeping the essential workers in our borough moving.

To assist NHS staff living or working in Tameside we would like to provide free travel on journeys in and around Tameside. This will take a lot of funds so to get this off to a flying start we have donated £5000 ourselves. We will also add to this with 10p from all our taxi bookings going to our charity travel funds until further notice.
