Story

I'm hoping to raise £2,000 to help a passionate group of Students from The University of Glasgow, pursuing studies in community development.

Our goal is to foster positive change and empowerment within communities, both locally and globally. As part of their academic journey, they have the unique opportunity to participate in a study trip to Kentucky, USA in May 2025. This trip will allow them to engage with the community leaders, exchange knowledge and gain practical experience that will enhance their ability to make a meaningful impact however, the financial burden of this trip is significant and they need as much support as possible to help cover some of the costs.

To raise funds, we have committed to walking the equivalent distance from Glasgow Scotland to Kentucky USA, a staggering 3'936 miles!

This challenge symbolizes our dedication, perseverance and the metaphorical journey of bridging communities across Continents.

Your contributions will directly support their travel, accommodation and educational activites during the trip. By donating, you are not just helping them achieve their academic goals, but also investing in the future of the community development and the positive ripple effects it will have on countless lives.

Every donation, no matter the size, brings them one step closer to Kentucky and one step closer to their mission of fostering stronger, healthier communities.

LETS HELP THE STUDENTS OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT @ G15 THRIVING PLACES!
