I've raised £50 to Support Women and Girls during their Menstrual Cycle

Every month, women and teenage girls are faced with a lovely gift from mother nature. However, with pads and tampons being really expensive not everyone can afford them. A large number of girls miss out on going to school, others living on the street opt to use socks or newspapers to prevent the unwanted free bleeding. Some may afford pads and tampons but do not have enough to regularly change- thus healthcare becomes another concern.
I have decided to spend a majority of my summer holiday donating pads, tampons and menstrual cups to both food banks and homeless women. If you prefer, I will on occasion be able to pick up your donations but thoroughly encourage you to buy 2 packets of pads or tampons when you buy yours and drop your donation at a local food bank, if you do not have time you could always give it to a woman that you pass-by on the street.
Through your donations, I will also be donating to the Ruby Cup company to give Ruby Cups to women and girls in Africa. Feel free to donate to them as well or find out more about their company from this link Ruby Cup donations
