Story

On the 22nd of December, I will be shaving my head to raise money for 2 charities that help children.

The first is the Little Princess Trust, which will receive my hair and any specific donations to assist them in making a wig for a child who has been affected by cancer. The Little Princess Trust has provided thousands of real hair wigs to children and young people across the UK and Ireland. Not only that but for the last 7 years, all thanks to the efforts of fundraisers, they were able to start funding pioneering academics and institutions leading the way in researching new and better treatments for all paediatric cancers.

The second cause I’m supporting has deeply affected my heart – and that is to provide aid and solace to the orphaned children of Gaza who have been tragically affected by the ongoing conflict between Israel and Palestine.

The devastating consequences of the conflict have left countless innocent children without families, without a loving hug and without the nurturing care they need. These children have witnessed the unimaginable horrors of war, losing their families, their homes, and their sense of safety in the process. Their lives have been shattered, leaving them emotionally scarred and struggling to find hope amidst the chaos. They are forced to navigate through life's uncertainties and have been robbed of their innocence and the chance to experience a normal childhood.

As a mother it breaks my heart to think of any child suffering… be it through cancer war, or any other cause. I have taken it upon myself to make a difference in the lives of these children in any small way that I can.

I cannot accomplish this alone. I would like your kindness and your dedication to making a positive impact in the world. With your contribution, we can make a significant impact on the lives of these children. Your sponsorship, regardless of its size will serve as a reminder that there are compassionate souls in the world who do care about their well-being and are willing to extend a helping hand. It may not be much... but together, we can bring light into the lives of these children, offering them a glimmer of hope and the promise of a better tomorrow.

Anything you can give would be much appreciated; your generous donations mean we can help children at home & abroad. I know this time of year is hard but anything you can give from pence to pounds is appreciated.

If you want to further support me then please come down to The Turfcutters Arms in East Boldre on 22nd December, where my head will be shaved at around 21:30. There will be some great live music (both before and after) and I would love to see all the generous people in person.

Thank you, Tamsin ❤️
