In loving memory of Tanya Isla Alicia Hinds, we have set up a Just Giving page to raise funds for the Hospice she spent 4 Months in.

We would prefer donations from family and friends rather than flowers as this would be what Tanya would want, to give back to the fantastic people who cared for her whilst fighting cancer.

Tanya was the most happy, generous and kind hearted girl, she brightened up everyone's day with her massive smile, even when sitting in the hospital bed she would still crack a joke and a smile.

She loved sports growing up and being the best athlete in the school, she was always picked first for the teams. She was a short distance runner, she was great at the 100 and 200metres, with ambition and strength to push forward in her running career at a young age. However she was unable to pursue her running career for health reasons, so instead she would intend on helping other athletes by graduating with a BAHons in sports management.

In July 2016 Tanya was diagnosed with Breast cancer, she had to undergo surgery with a double mastectomy shortly after, and have chemotherapy which unfortunately paralyised twice right side of her body twice, she had radiotherapy and a long 2 year struggle with fighting cancer. She took video diaries and still managed to talk about the cancer and inspired many others with her stories and her smile. 12 days after her 30th Birthday Tanya passed away peacefully and happily in the early hours, she enjoyed her 30th birthday with family and her Fiance , Ny, her last photos are of her smiling and treasuring the moments.

She was loved by all and touched the hearts of so many fighting the same.
