Weʼve raised £0 to have 5 root canal teeth removed. I need to have dental implants due to cleft pallet and jaw surgery as a child. The nhs won't help.

    Story

I was born with a cleft pallet and a defect in the growth of my jaw, and so I had about 13 operations over the years.

My teeth and jaw have always been a vulnerable part of my body. I recently found that I have 5 root canal treated teeth which have been found with bacteria underneath . It is highly recommended that I remove these teeth, since the bacterial infection is undermining not just all my other teeth, but also the health of my whole body. The nhs will not cover my treatment plan. I have already had one out. Which has been painful but feels better now.

I need to have implants which will cost £25,000.

I have been struggling with my teeth this last 6 months. I have had a private dentist do an x ray. They have found bacterial growth under 5 root canal treated teeth. If I want to remove them and have the treatment needed I have to pay myself - the nhs won't fund it.
