Story

My name is Tanya and I am forty years old. I have Cerebral Palsy."

I cannot walk or feed myself but I can do art with my head pointer and I have made a lot of cards with help from my friend and I have an eyegaze computer so that I can write emails with my eyes."

I would love very much to have a wetroom and a proper bedroom as at the moment I sleep in the lounge and I have bed baths."

Tanya lives with her mum Wendy, in Wellington Somerset. Wendy has managed to save over several years the total of £25,000 in order to get the project started. The additional money will go towards fixtures and fittings, reconfiguring their driveway and giving disabled access to the extention. We are also looking to create some outdoor space for Tanya and Wendy to enjoy the sunshine.

We have a building company organised to carry out the work at cost (zero-profit 100 percent transparency). If this project is successful we will be looking at other worthy causes which would require similar assistance.

Please help us help Tanya to improve her quality of life, something so many of us take for granted.
