Story

Erika Davies and the defibrillator at Ysgol Tanygrisiau saved a Tanygrisiau man's life. Kenneth Lyon of Tanygrisiau had a heart attack and died - Erika Davies saved his life using her skills and the defibrillator at Ysgol Tanygrisiau. This is the only defibrillator in this immediate area. We are raising money to install a defibrillator at the bus shelter opposite Dolydd Terrace, and a second one at Dolrhedyn. If this is a success, we will go on to try to raise funds for more in the rest of Tanygrisiau. It would be superb to raise awareness of how these defibrillators can save lives - we are also going to arrange training for any people that are interested, to use a defibrillator, and for first aid. Erika Davies has been put forward for a very well-deserved bravery award by our MP Liz Saville-Roberts. Thanks everyone - so much appreciated :) xx
