My name is Elysia I am a 16 year old student in Cornwall who, in the summer of 2019 is going on a four week trip to Tanzania; the main focus of my trip is to help with community work around several different communities and tribes to help develop their economy and social structure by helping set up and build schools. By doing so we are encouraging more young people to get a primary education- this is better than what most young people in an LIC would receive. Along side this I may also be doing some work with the wildlife around the area too; as this country has such a large biodiversity it is very important that we are able to do even the smallest bit of work to protect it.

I need to raise just under £4,000 for the trip (not including my jabs and other things along side that) but I should aim low at the moment as I can focus on other fundraising at a later date due to my exams, the rest of the fund i aim to raise through sponsors, car boot sales etc.
