I'm raising £30000 to Fund intensive therapies and associated costs

On 20th April 2022, Ciarla Herron was born prematurely at 32 weeks, which resulted in the brain injury Periventricular Leukomalacia (PVL) and bilateral cerebral palsy.
Like any other exuberant toddler, Ciarla is keen to get stuck into everything, and to help with her mobility, she uses a K-walker and a wheelchair.
However, she’s not like every other toddler. She is faced with her own unique challenges on a daily basis. Ciarla is unable to stand or walk unaided. She tires easily and suffers with limb pain.Ciarla embraces these challenges, with her happy and caring nature, bringing joy and pride to her family, and all who come into contact with her.
Recently, Ciarla began attending specialist physiotherapy, and after just 1 session, her family were amazed by the impact. Inspired by this, they are keen to continue giving her access to the very best medical treatment and expertise available in order to help her reach her full potential, thus maximising her quality of life.
The ultimate goal is for Ciarla to avail of intensive therapies at the NAPA Center, either in the USA or England, and the SwimLab in Lanzarote. These therapies offer incredible growth and development opportunities for Ciarla.
The reality is that the pursuit of these treatments require significant travel, sacrifice, and adjustments to family life, not to mention the financial implications for Ciarla's family.
Ciarla's family are embarking on a fundraising journey.
As close friends of Ciarla's parents, Tara and Conor, we have been inspired by Ciarla's story and wish to help them in their efforts to provide her with the best possible aid.
In the first of many fundraisers, we are running the London Marathon on Sunday 27th April 2025 to raise funds for Ciarla on her journey. We are hoping to use our legs to help her use hers.❤️
We would appreciate if you would help us support Ciarla and her family by providing a donation via this page.
