I've raised £2750 to take part in an expedition to Sumatra to help plant trees in the rainforest for the orangutans

I, along with several other students from my school, will be taking part in an expedition in April 2020 to Sumatra for 10 days. We are going to visit the orangutan sancturies and learn in further detail why their numbers are decreasing rapidly. The main reason is due to the deforestation of their habitat, the rainforest. Palm trees are being cut down for palm oil that goes into a lot of products however it is not necessary at all. The orangutans cannot live outside of their habitat alone and its having a dramatic effect on their lives. We will plant more trees to help regrow the rainforest to the extent we can. Also, whilst we are in Sumatra, we will help care for the elephants, cleaning them etc.
Dontations to help raise money would be massively appreciated!
