I've raised £500 to Raffle of a brooch I have made, to raise funds for The Women's Organisation, a charity based in Liverpool and Manchester.

To celebrate 100 years of women getting the vote, on February 6th 1918 to the first time women voted in a General Election, on 14th December 1918, I have designed and made a brooch, made from silver, 18ct yellow gold, diamond, green tourmaline and amethyst. Sylvia Pankhurst designed the Holloway Brooch that were presented to ex-prisoners to honour their sacrifice and personal liberty. I have used the convict arrow she used on this brooch and put that symbol on my brooch. The brooch's retail value is £795. It will be £2 per entry and you can have as many entries as you like, so £10 would give you five entries. It starts on February 6th 2018 and ends on 14th December 2018. I have chosen to give money raised to The Women's Organisation, a registered charity based in Liverpool and Manchester. They are the largest developer and deliverer of training and support targeting women in the UK. Being based in Liverpool and Manchester they have a reach across the North West. They enable women to access funding, facilities, experience and expertise to enable, assist, inspire to succeed.
