I've raised £750 to help fund therapies and treatments that are not available on the NHS for two year old twins Lennon and Layla Coady.

On Sunday 10th September 2017 I will be putting on my trainers and taking on all 13.1 miles of the Great North Run in an attempt to raise funds for LittleLegsCoady.
LittleLegsCoady is a fundraising group set up by friends and family of the Coady family for twins Lennon and Layla Coady. Lennon and Layla were born 12 weeks prematurely in July 2014. As a result of their early birth both suffered brain haemorrhages which led to them both being diagnosed with cerebral palsy. Layla also has a rare chromosomal abnormality which causes her to be impaired in all areas of her development.
The Coady family are raising funds for an SDR (selective dorsal rhizomy) operation for Lennon which would aim to remove the spasticity in his legs with a view to his mobility dramatically increasing and him leading a pain free life. This operation and years of physiotherapy afterwards is in excess of £70,000 and is not funded by the NHS. The Coady family are also hopeful that one day Layla may walk unaided and are seeking physiotherapy and alternative therapies not funded by the NHS in order to allow her to stand the best opportunity to reach this goal.
