    Story

Hello Everyone I am Tara Xavier. I will attempt to be the first solo female instructor to teach the largest static spin class in the world on the 22nd of April '17. I'm doing this to raise money for MIND . In 2014 my lungs collapsed as a result of chronic asthma. It was the trigger that has changed my life. I left my lucrative career in advertising, retrained as a life coach and fitness instructor, since then I've never looked back.

I teach a total body spin class incorporating a few minutes of mindfulness meditation throughout. My ethos is focusing on mind and movement, both mental and physical health as equal elements for our attention.

The frustration of lying in a bed not being able to move your body, left alone with your thoughts, not knowing if you'll walk again is frightful. That memory drives me to get up and move everyday. I can't forget how I felt, I can't forget seeing people I love feel the same way. That's my drive, that's my passion: live a life teaching people how to feel confident, and be their best and happiest self.

We've all experienced troubled, dark hours, days, even years in our lives. Without support and positive thinking, we're not all lucky enough to come out alive.

Today I'm asking for help. This event is huge; I need a venue, bikes, security, water, health care services, removal trucks, removal people, sound system, and that's just the start. The quotes I've received so far have left me with a price tag of 65k. I know and I believe there are good people out there who believe in this movement with me.

Please give what you can to help make this possible. Every donation helps. Please share, tweet, Instagram everyone you know, spread the word. So many people are already volunteering, thank you.
