Story

Thalassaemia is a genetic blood disorder where the individual cannot produce enough haemoglobin in their blood and in order to survive they must have regular monthly blood transfusions and medical treatment.

TASG (Thalassaemia Awareness & Support Group) are working hard to raise funds for disadvantaged children in developing countries.

In the UK, we are fortunate enough to get treatment and medication free of charge. However, Thalassaemia is often overlooked. This leads to many people facing complications in getting the right care that they deserve. And in other parts of the world people with Thalassaemia are finding it hard to even survive as they're not able to get the right blood and treatments at the right time due to it being unaffordable.

We are requesting everyone to support us as much as you can so we can help provide the best safe treatments for children that are suffering with Thalassaemia and give them the chance to live and feel the happiness through your support.
We are fundraising in loving memory of our close family members and friends that we have lost but whom we will never forget:
