Story

War Out Reach in Schools: (W.O.R.S) is a resource that can be tailored to meet the needs and abilities of all Schools.

GCN Volunteers have experience of working with children and young people with disabilities, Primary and Secondary schools and Further Education.

WW1 'Taste The Trench' Work Shops with Resources including:

Sept 2019 Volunteers from the W.O.R.S. Project, supported the Open Evening at Chosen Hill School.

Our W.O.R.S. resources and volunteers are able to link a Century old history to the present day eg Shell Shock to PTSD and the Teenagers mental health, with Work Shops made to fit Chosen Hills School curriculum on WW1 medical Treatments.

The 'War Out Reach in Schools' project (W.O.R.S) tries to bring and keep WW1&WW2 history a live.
At present we have used our own money to buy and hire uniforms to work in Schools from Junior schools in Gloucestershire including Milestone Disabled school, Chosen Hill Secondary school, National Star College (students we complex disabilities).
