What is crowdfunding?

Story
by 2019, i aim to rase the money needed to fund my life changing trip.
When the world challenge company came to my school to talk about this oppertunity, i was immediatly exited, however when the price was mentioned i have to say i was a little dissapointed.
This trip is to sri lanka in 2019 and when i am there i would work alongside the centre for abused women and their children.
