Weʼve raised £681 to support the staff and children at Whitchuch Primary School, Tavistock

Funded on Saturday, 2nd November 2019

    Story

Parents of children and friends of Whitchurch Primary School are taking part in this year's Tavy 7 on Sunday 27 October. The aim is not only to get fit and enjoy ourselves, but to raise much-needed funds for the school and support the teachers and staff who do an incredible job with very limited resources.

We are all keen amateurs, so this is a personal challenge as well as a community one. Your donations will be most welcome and will motivate us towards training for and completing the race, so raising cash for our school!

We now have all of our volunteer runners but your support for them and by extension the school is most welcome. You can even join us on the day - the more the merrier!

Well we finished the race! The weather was great as we ran the 7 miles around Dartmoor, some setting personal records and others completing their own individual challenges. But together we have now raised over £580 for the school so a big thank you to everyone who supported and sponsored us, as well as the race organisers who facilitated our entry. This fundraising page will remain open until Saturday 2 November after which no further donations can be taken. All the money raised will then be presented to the Whitchurch School Association.
