Hi I'm Denise and I'm trying to raise money for my 14yr old daughter Taylor. Taylor was diagnosed with a rare medical condition called PoTS (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome) nearly 4 months ago. PoTS is a condition that affects the autonomic nervous system. In short her heart rate & blood pressure spikes and she passes out multiple times a day. She suffers from muscle & joint pain, chronic fatigue and brain fog along with other symptoms. This illness has left Taylor unable to stand up or walk so she is in a wheelchair. She can only sit up for maximum 2hours at a time before fainting meaning she has to lie down a lot of the time. She is on medication and has to attend physio every week just to stop her becoming bedbound. She can only attend school part-time and has lost all her independence. It is absolutely heartbreaking to see that life as she knew it has been taken away by this illness and if she has any hope of recovering in the future she needs the proper help asap.

We are in desperate need of equipment such as a lightweight wheelchair that she can easily manage, a ramp so she can enter & exit the house easily and a few bits of exercise equipment to keep her body from deteriorating. The NHS have failed to provide her with help so far with the exception of a wheelchair on loan.
As this is a rare condition and we are in Scotland there are no specialists here to help her. We will have to travel to London, possibly multiple times and pay privately for specialist medical help. This is going to be expensive but extremely needed for her recovery so any donations will be massively appreciated.
