Once all of my GCSE exams are over I am going on a two week expedition to Swaziland where we will be completing a 3-4 day trek across the Savannahs, (camping along the way) and cooking our own meals using produce we sourced on arrival.
We will then be staying in a local village where we will be helping to build NCP's (Neighbourhood Care Points). As you know, many young children have been orphaned due to the AIDS epidemic and these NCP's are places that orphaned and vulnerable children can go to learn and feel safe.
I am sure this is going to be a fantastic experience and an opportunity that I feel privileged to be able to be taking part in.
