Who are we?

TransBareAll is an entirely volunteer-run organisation with the aim to improve the health and wellbeing of trans people, creating trans and non-binary centered spaces for people to explore and celebrate together. We are founded on body positive and sex positive principles and our retreats create space for people to come together, share, learn, explore and laugh.

Our fundraiser

We are always looking for ways to increase access for people who would like to come to our retreats but might otherwise be unable because of financial or other barriers. In the past, members of the TBA community took on fundraising challenges to buy a hearing loop. Now we want to raise money so that we can offer subsidised places and travel costs for Personal Assistants, low income participants and more.

Various members of the TBA community are doing different challenges and you can encourage and cheer everyone on by sponsoring them here. Leave messages of support and keep an eye out for news of each person’s progress throughout their challenge. Updates will appear on our blog page

What is this fundraiser for exactly?

We are a volunteer-run organisation and so that means we have pretty low infrastructure costs: we need to pay for our website maintenance, insurance, volunteer training and expenses. That comes to about 15% of our £2000 fundraising total.

After that, we want to spend the rest of the raised funds on increasing access to our retreats: subsidising Personal Assistant places for people who need them, low income participant access, travel, and some handheld microphones to make our hearing loop system even better.
