Story
Unfortunately, we have received notice from DEFRA that all Zoos are to remain closed indefinitely, this is very worrying as we had planned on reopening in July, so on top of caring for the birds and maintaining the Centre, we are now lobbying MPs along with other Zoos so that Government may rethink this instruction.
As we have no indication when we can now reopen your support is very much needed and appreciated.
We had to close the centre to help stop the spread of this horrible virus which in turn has stopped all income to the centre. we had only been open for 20 days this season after coming out of a very hard winter. We have lost potential income from all our planned school and coach visits so far, having remained closed over the Easter Holidays and the May Bank holidays this has compounded the loss of earnings.
The staff have all made personal sacrifices and our priority is to maintain the high standards of care we always give our birds at the centre.
So, we need your help to meet our ongoing monthly running costs.
Your donation will be gratefully received and will be used to go towards the upkeep of the collection.
We know these are uncertain times but any donation, big or small will directly help our feathered friends.
£5 buys 10 Large Mice for Owls
£10 buys 6 Large Rats for Large owls, Vultures, Hawks
£15 buys A fish for the Sea Eagles
£20 buys A box of Quail for the Falcons
