Story

The Classroom Partnership Midlands are passionate about supporting our local schools and would like to raise £3,500 between now and the 1st July 2019 to purchase 3 new fully automatic defibrillators which will be donated to 3 of our partnership schools at the end of the next academic year.

Sadly children and young people can suffer sudden cardiac arrest, as well as the older population & medical experts believe many children could be saved if a defibrillator is used within minutes of collapse. However, there is currently no national system in place in the UK to ensure defibrillators are on school premises.

We are striving to protect everyone within a school environment by making a defibrillator available on school premises to restart the heart if a pupil or teacher suffers sudden cardiac arrest.

The defibrillator alerts you to call the emergency services who will respond immediately but in the meantime vital lifesaving action can be taken to give the person the best possible chance of survival.

The Classroom Partnership Midlands team will be taking part in various challenges throughout the year to help raise these essential funds. Within the team, we have myself, Rosanna Rogers, Callum Greener & Anja Simpson.

We urge you to either sponsor us for our challenges or just simply donate anything you can!
