Inspired by poet and care-leaver Lemn Sissay, we want to replicate what has been achieved in other cities across the UK to give young care leavers in our neighbourhood an amazing day this Christmas.

Our hope and aim is for the local community to kindly volunteer their valuable time and resources - from helping peel potatoes to gifting presents. Your donations are needed to pay for hidden costs such as insurance, Christmas Day travel for our guests and any ‘top ups’ required to make the day a huge success. Any surplus will be donated to the Lemn Sissay Foundation to support The Christmas Day Dinner in 2018.
