To help embrace our ideology of truly making a difference to everyone we support, we set up the Shine Fund. The is the Fundraising arm of HICA and every single penny raised goes towards the provision of activities, trips and specialist equipment all designed to make a positive difference to the lives of the people we deliver services to.

We are always looking for new and fun ways to raise funds. Our latest event is the Tour De Hica which will see exercise bikes set up at our Head Office for 24 hours, from 12 noon Thursday 22nd June to 12 noon Friday 23rd June, while we attempt to virtually cycle from Lands End to John O'Groats and back again - and astonishing 1750 miles. Last year we narrowly missed out on our target and this year we are determined to smash it! There are two ways in which we are asking people to support us - firstly - simply donate to the cause via this page.
