Why are the oceans STILL filling up with waste
"if" the 154 signatories of The 1984 Laws of the Sea Convention had done then what TEAA are about to do now, then the oceans would not be in the mess they are in today........
21,000 tons of waste enters the oceans every day - (900 tons per hour, 15 tons per minute)
What may surprise you to learn is; The actual coastline lengths of a Nation.
As an example, the small island of the United Kingdom has one of the largest coastline lengths on the planet !
So clearing beaches and stemming the flow of waste into the oceans Globally may not be as big a problem as you would first imagine.......
The Extraction Action Alliance has a Global £300,000,000 plan to stem these flows, capture and extract the waste whilst also clearing up beaches across the Globe.
