I've raised £2000 to to support TeachabilityUK and its plan to raise funds for disabled children in Sierra Leone

Organised by Eddie Barnes
In 2009, our brother Richard Barnes died at the age of 42. He was mentally handicapped from birth and dearly loved by his family. We decided to try and keep his memory alive by fundraising. Thanks to Richard's younger brother Jeremy, a headteacher in Liverpool, we've now set up "TeachAbilityUK", a Community Interest Company, to improve education for children with disabilities in the developing world. The first big project is to bring over a group from Sierra Leone in summer 2019 - every penny raised here will go to this exciting new project - starting with a fundraising night out at the Shed Nightclub, Shawlands, Glasgow 15th September. Doors open 6pm!
