We are supporting The Basement who are fighting homelessness & addiction by empowering people to do the same.

The Basement is the only homeless organisation based in Liverpool City Centre. Their role is to empower people to make changes in their lives that will help them find accommodation and resolve issues with substance misuse.

What can they use the money for;

£5 Will provide one Service User with a ‘clean kit’ including underwear & shower

£10 Provides support for a vulnerable person to attend an appointment (the GP, housing association, job interview)

£20 Is the cost of a session with our crisis counsellor.

£30 The cost of a day out for one person, away from the city learning new skills and building new social contacts.

I will be completing a Full Tough Mudder - a 10-12 mile mud and obstacle course designed to drag you out of your comfort zone by testing your physical strength, stamina, and mental grit.
