Story

Hi everyone :) As most of you know already, I am heading to India with the charity Saphara in April 2019. I am going as part of a team of 12 student teachers from Stranmillis University College and St Mary's University College to teach in Kiplani High School and SNEHA School in Dehradun.

£900 is my overall target to reach by April 2019 and any donations are greatly appreciated. The cost of flights and accommodation for the trip is covered, so all money raised through fundraising is going directly to the schools in India. Their work includes funding for schools, supporting teacher salaries, the provision of classrooms and toilet blocks, an English Language programme and support for giving young girls a voice in Education.

Thank you for all your support!
