I've raised £500 to support the 'Feed our Community Project' here in Devon by running or walking 1000 miles throughout February

The team here at Bluegrass Group wanted to come together to support a local and worthy cause, whilst also encouraging each other to get out and about, running or walking throughout this third lockdown.
We then decided on a target of achieving 1000 miles between the 20 of us to hit by 28th February 2021 in hope of raising £500 for our chosen cause. Not only would this mean we supported our own well-being by staying active, getting some fresh air and having a team goal to help keep us motivated, but we would also get the chance to make a real difference to those in need.
We heard about the amazing work that Maia has been doing, right here in Exeter to feed struggling families across Devon and we instantly knew this was the project we wanted to support. Here's a little more about this incredible community project.
'Feed Our Community Project (Founder- Maia Thomas) - A project aiming to reduce food poverty in our community by providing food packages. Free food packages are available to those struggling financially, low income households, on furlough & people in emergency situations. Over 1,200 packages were delivered in under 3 weeks.
Let’s come together and feed our community. No one should have to go hungry.
A problem shared is a problem halved, please do not suffer in silence.'
Please help us support this fantastic cause by donating whatever you can in sponsorship of the #TeamBluegrass 1000 mile Challenge!
We are raising funds via Just Giving as Feed Our Community is not yet a registered charity. So this means we can track how much we have raised and donate one large sum once the challenge is complete. If you have any questions about this, please don't hesitate to email ask@bluegrass-group.com.
In the meantime, please wish us luck and thank you for your donation!
