Story

Since Finley’s diagnosis of Leukaemia in October, we’ve received so much help and support from lots of different charities-some we hadn’t even heard of. It’s this kind of support that is invaluable when you’re going through this terrible experience. Now that we’ve managed to spend some time at home, we’ve decided it’s time to give something back.

Over the next few months, we’re going to try and raise some money. Family and friends have signed up for 10k’s and half marathons and we’ve signed all the kids of the family up for the Kids marathon. Finley himself will be doing the Kids 1k on Saturday 26th May. We’re also hosting a Ladies Prosecco Afternoon Tea on Saturday 28th April.

When we were last in hospital I was asking one of the nurses about who best to raise funds for and her reply was to give back to whom we felt we’d received the most from. So with that in mind we‘ve decided to donate to CCLASP-an Edinburgh based Childrens Cancer Charity and of course Ward 2 of the Sick Kids Hospital who continue to save my precious boys life.

Thanks to all who have donated, every penny is appreciated x
