Story
Hi, and welcome to Team Oscar.
Oscar was born with a condition called dilated cardiomyopathy, which in simple terms means heart failure. For a good few months Oscar was thriving and doing well on his meds, and then suddenly deteriorated. He’s been in and out of hospital for over a month, and is currently being treated in Great Ormond Street Hospital.
We are unsure what Oscars future holds, but it’s likely he will need a heart transplant at some stage.
We are currently 107 miles away from home, not working and separated from our eldest son Jack who is staying with family at the moment. Our lovely friends set up this page in hope that we would be able to receive some help with fuel and living costs etc through this hard time.

6 years agoOscar is home again and is doing well mostly! A few hiccups along the way but he’ll get there! Still travelling around to lots of appointments at GOSH and Southampton. Thank you for everyone’s donations❤️

6 years agoLittle man is back in hospital again on IV meds! It’s possible he may need these short stays every couple of weeks for IV top ups as his heart seems to struggle when he’s on oral diuretics for too long.
