I've raised £6000 to share between York Against Cancer, The Encephalitis Society, St Leonard's Hospice and Martin House Children's hospice

In April 2022, a YDL sponsored team embarked on the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge to raise funds for Martin House Children's Hospice and we were overwhelmed to raise £4440. Spurred on by last year's efforts, mid-life crisis and christmas calories, we are aiming to up the ante:
In April 2023 (weather permitting) we will attempt the following 4 challenges over 4 consecutive weekends:
The tallest 3 Peaks in Scotland: Ben Nevis (1345m), Ben Macdui (1309m) and Braeriach (1296m).
The tallest 3 Peaks in Wales: Snowdon (1085m), Garnedd Ugain (1065m) and Carnedd Llewelyn (1064m)
The tallest 3 peaks in England: Scafell Pike (978m), Sca Fell (964m) and Helvellyn (950m).
Grand Finale: 24 hour National 3 Peaks Challenge on the final weekend.
Measured in Metres alone, this is a combined height higher than Everest! The weather can be a cruel mistress in April, but we will continue to attempt on consecutive weekends until the challenge is completed should this be an obstacle.
The 4 charity's have been specially selected by us as part of YDL's ongoing commitment to local community charity work having worked with all of them previously. All 4 work tirelessly in our locality to provide support and every penny helps this work continue.
Wish us luck, definitely donate, get involved, make the butties, drive a safety car, or just buy us a pint at the end.
