Story

Currently there are 850,000 people in the UK living with dementia, which is said to rise to 1 million by 2025.
We, a group of 16 year olds visited Rosclare care home in Surbiton, on the 15th and 16th of August and it has come to our attention that awareness for dementia isn't as current as we'd like it to be.
Our aim in raising money would be to provide some extra funding for Rosclare(with their permission) for activities such as day-outs for the elderly as we noticed that they didn't go out a lot yet were enthusiastic about the world outside.
By providing activities like this not only will it bring a smile to their faces, but it can improve their outlook on life and life in the care home.
