Our women's programme is split into three teams - U18 Women's National League, U19s development team and Senior Women Division 1 (the only women's team in the West Midlands playing at this elite level) . Both of our teams compete nationally, which means we play across the country against teams as close as Bristol and as far away as Southampton and London.

Why do we need your support?
We are actively looking for players for all of our teams but more importantly looking for sponsors to provide support for the on-going huge costs to run the teams even after monthly payments are made by players.
Each player contributes £35 per month towards league entry fees, court hire, table officials, referees, apparel and to fund travel costs when travelling to away games, but that does not nearly cover the expense:

Court hire for training sessions: £360 per month x 8 months = £2,880
Court hire for 12 home games = £225 x 12 games = £2,700
Total cost per team for one season = £5,580

We currently have 12 players paying £35 per month which adds up to £3,360 per season, which leaves us with £2,220 deficit (the breakdown above is for one team).
We like our club to be accessible to all as decline in girls basketball is apparent. Many players, especially youngsters find it difficult to pay monthly fees. This is where we need your help!
In addition to this, neither our coaches nor a team manager get paid and simply donate their time 3-4 times a week.

We will help too!
Every week in the UK at least 12 young people die of undiagnosed heart conditions. Since its formation in 1995, Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY) has been working to reduce the frequency of young sudden cardiac death (YSCD).
