Darcie was recently diagnosed with B-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. She is only three years old, and while it is treatable, she and her family now face a very challenging two years of treatment. Obviously this will have a huge impact on family life, massively affecting Joanna and Andy's work and domestic situations for the foreseeable future.

Joanna's friends and colleagues are cycling Preston's guild wheel on Saturday and Sunday 29 & 30 July to fundraise for her and her family to help towards all the expenses that will inevitably fall upon them during this difficult time. This is a 21 mile circuit, with half the team doing it Saturday and the other half doing it Sunday.
