Great Britain are one of the top 4 teams in the world at the Filipino Stick fighting. This organization WEKAF have been in Great Britain since 1989 and have proven to produce some of the finest World Champions and European Champions through this sport. Martial Arts sports always seem to be left out of the main stream sports but in this art of Sport Eskrima we have had many British Champions, World Champions and European Champions. We have just finished competing in The European Championships in July in London and came away with 15 Gold medals, 27 Silver medals and 21 Bronze. This is a total of 63 medals. Can you imagine what the papers would have said if the athletes had won this amount at The World Championships. We are an amateur sport and need funds to take a team to Hawaii in July 2018 to compete and win medals for Great Britain. We have got some very talented fighters and have got a very good chance of some of them becoming World Champions but to get to Hawaii and pay for accommodation is just a step to far for some team members. We need funds to take a team of around 15/20 fighters to compete in The World Eskrima Kali Arnis Federation World Championships in Hawaii in July 2018.
