Weʼve raised £2,160 to help two-year-old Ava get special shoes to fit her right foot that is over-growing due to a rare genetic condition. A pair costs £500.

    Story

Ava is the two-year-old granddaugther of a Herrco team mate, Claire Casbolt from People Team.

She has been diagnosed with a rare genetic condition where one of the symptoms Ava experiences is her right leg and (particularly her foot) over growing.

The family has been desperately looking to find companies that make orthotic shoes/sandals for her as they cannot buy them off the shelves.

Currently she is fitted by the NHS, but with only 1 pair at a time allowed, she only has heavy boots. NIMCO sells special orthopaedic shoes - for £500 per pair.

The family is unsure what the future holds for Ava as she has many tests to come and certainly some big battles ahead, but at present she is thriving!

They don't want Ava to be held back by her feet and hope to get her a couple different types of shoes so she can go out and be an active child.
