On April 7th 2017, we received the news that no family should ever have to hear, our 7 year old by, Luke, was diagnosed with Cancer. Around a week after being admitted to the RVI Newcastle, it was confirmed that Luke had High Risk Neuroblastoma. The news was devastating, and has turned our world upside down.
However Luke is a fighter, and continues to demonstrate bravery and courage throughout his treatment. The support we have received from friends and family has been overwhelming, and is something we will be eternally grateful for.
This page has been set up ahead of various fundraising activities that have been planned, particularly by the rugby community. All money raised will be split between Luke (to provide him with as many activities as possible to make his battle a bit easier), and North of England Children's Cancer Research charity, who have been funding research into childhood cancer in Newcastle upon Tyne for over 30 years - www.neccr.org.uk
