Story

On September 16th 2017 i am competing in the Red Bull 400 Race Series, 'The toughest 400m race in the world' in Planica, Slovenia. This is the biggest hill in The Red Bull 400 Race Series.
From the starting line at the base of the jump to the finish at the top, the course covers 400 meters and includes 180 meters of vertical gain. That equals an average gradient of about 45%.

Why am i doing this?

Some of you may know that my 5 yr old nephew/best friend/brother/confidant and my teacher of all things Dinosaur, Caleb, was diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma in July 2015 and after nearly two brave years of fighting, he lost his battle on the 23rd January 2017.
During his treatment he spent some considerable time on Addenbrookes C2 & PDU ward, along with many other children. I have seen some really sick children, from newborn babies to young teenagers and it is truly heartbreaking. Some children have alot of family spending time with them and some just get left in the care of nurses. I am not trying to perform any miracles but what i can do is try and put some smiles on the faces of the children, their brothers, sisters and families.

The amount i am looking to raise will purchase a wide range of gifts from their Amazon Wish List including electronics, toys, games, dvd's, baby sleep aids, books and sensory lighting.

Your donations will not only mean a lot to me, but more importantly to the children and families these gifts are going to.

I am going to go through more training than I have ever done before, doing around 8 sessions a week, so I would urge you to give, as much or as little as you can, for this great cause. I will be pushing my body to its limit in an effort for a top finish, i will not be just going through the motions, pushing it to a point it has never gone before, all for these amazing, brave kids and I hope you can give a little bit in return.

Remember to give gift aid, as it does make a huge difference.

Thank you!
