Hi folks, just an update. As most of you are now aware wee Xavier has been diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma, a rare cancer which was found in the muscle of the prostate gland. The tumor has spread from the front of his colon to his bladder, kidney and lungs. Xavier is not yet three years old and has already been through so much just to get his diagnosis and start treatment. His internal organs seem to be responding so this is good, we won't know if the chemo is working until more scans and tests are done which is likely to be within the next couple of weeks.
Beth and the family and friends have been raising money for "Latch". The charity LATCH is a children's cancer charity which supports children, parents and families who are living with cancer, and are supporting Xavier and family whilst in hospital.
My family and I will be organising various fundraising events for Latch next year.
When Xavier is able, Beth would like to take him to Disneyland Florida. I am looking for my pals to sponsor me to have my head shaved to raise some pennies for Beth and the boys. All pennies raised will go straight to Beth to support her and the boys at this time. I am planning this for Wednesday 22nd November 2017. I know lots of you will be disappointed I am shaving off such wonderful flowing locks 🤣, however it's what I would like to personally do for Beth and the boys. Any correspondence, please do so through private messages on Messenger. If you would like to pledge some pennies or just have a natter I will be on and off Facebook so will respond when I can. I'm not sure how to collect the pennies but I'll look into it and work something out.
