Tech From Palestine is a youth-led nonprofit initiative that has already empowered over 400 passionate Palestinian tech learners from Gaza and beyond. We've trained them in high-demand fields like Software Development, DevOps, Artificial Intelligence, Databases, and UI/UX Design — and helped many of them land real jobs or internships in the global tech market.

All of this has been achieved amid the harshest realities in Gaza: war, daily power outages, an ongoing siege, and limited access to global resources. But even in crisis, we made a choice — to build the future through education and technology.

Our Mission

Our goal goes beyond tech education — we aim to connect talented young men and women in Gaza to global and local employment opportunities. We currently collaborate with over 25 partner companies and organizations to make that happen.

We also believe in early exposure to technology. That’s why we’ve introduced over 100 children to the foundations of problem-solving, design thinking, and programming through platforms like Scratch.

Our Achievements So Far

In just the past year, we have:

1- Operated face-to-face courses in both Northern and Central Gaza

2- Trained over 400 engineers in backend, frontend, and fullstack technologies , Programming , design , and more

3- Connected 100+ graduates to jobs, internships, and freelance work

4- Established two fully equipped training centers

5- Run everything on a volunteer-powered model, fueled by community resilience and global solidarity

What’s Next — 500 in 4 Months

We’re now launching an ambitious emergency expansion:

A 4-month intensive program that will train 500 engineers and tech enthusiasts across Gaza with practical, job-ready skills — in half the time it took us to train our first 400.

We will run 16 face-to-face courses in both the north and south of the Gaza Strip:

What We Offer

🔹 100% face-to-face learning in safe, equipped classrooms

🔹 100% free for all students — no fees, no barriers

Each program includes:

1-Hands-on, instructor-led training in fields like backend, frontend, AI, and more

2- Real-world project building to strengthen portfolios

3- Reliable electricity and internet access during sessions

4- Skilled trainers and dedicated mentors

5- Safe, welcoming training environments

6- Daily coffee breaks for focus and well-being

7- Graduation certificates

8- Continued internet access post-training

9- Guaranteed job or internship connection through our partners

10- At least 120 participants will secure work opportunities directly through our network.

Budget Breakdown

We aim to raise £26,000 to deliver this urgent 4-month training campaign across Gaza.

That’s just £52 per student for a life-changing opportunity — covering all core needs for 500 learners.

This total includes:

1- Trainer stipends for 4 face-to-face courses in the north and south

2- Logistics and coordination across Northern Gaza and Deir al-Balah

3- Rental of safe and equipped training spaces

4- Backup electricity and high-speed internet access

5- Open day events at the end of each course

5- Graduation certificates and administration support

Monthly Operating Cost: £6,500

Total for 4 Months: £26,000

We’ve rounded up from £25,624.61 to include a small buffer for transaction fees and emergency needs, ensuring that every training session runs smoothly and every student is fully supported.

✅ Note:The rental cost for the Deir al-Balah training center is currently fully covered by the Palestinian Refugee Affairs Department.If this generous support continues throughout the program, we will redirect those saved funds to increase the number of students or offer additional courses — maximizing the impact of every contribution.

The same principle applies to all parts of our budget: any savings or surplus will be reinvested directly into expanding access, reaching more learners, and strengthening the long-term success of Gaza’s tech talent.
