Story

Now more than ever video calling is a vital tool for connection between loved ones. With my Mum Kathleen being in a care home and on lock down I soon realised that many families were not as fortunate as us in that my Mum has an iPad and I can video call her daily so the idea was born to get more video calling devices into care homes.

I connected with Scottish Care, who loved the idea, and have been an amazing partner in rolling out the Tech Device Network campaign across Scotland where we have been looking for kind donations from the public of video calling devices. With lots of people asking if they could donate some money towards purchasing a refurbished device as of course we don't all have a spare iPhone or tablet lying around I wanted to launch a fundraising page where all donations however small or big are most appreciated.

You can find more info on the Tech Device Network here: https://scottishcare.org/techdevicenetwork/.

All money raised will go towards buying refurbished devices that are video calling enabled and will be distributed to care providers across Scotland so that we can keep as many loved ones as possible connected.

Thanks so much,

Jenn
