We are raising money for TEDDY20 by taking part in two runs during the Bournemouth Marathon Festival on Saturday 7th October 2017, the warmup act Supersonic 10K run along the Bournemouth seafront followed by the main event…the Supernova 5k…..

“But surely you’ve got that the wrong way round haven’t you?” we hear you shout…well no, because this 5k isn’t a normal run in the standard shorts, T-shirt, sweatband and trainers affair …no no no, This will be done in military issue NBC suits complete with gas-masks, for reasons that sounded like great ideas at the time.

The inspiration behind this comes from James, who has for a number of years supported the TEDDY20 charity by volunteering to help as a roadie with TEDDY ROCKS, a growing Music Festival raising money in the heart of Dorset.

James decided to combine his volunteer work for the TEDDY20 cause with his love for running to produce this challenge, throwing this gauntlet down to two alarmingly easy to coerce running mates in David and Claire to ultimately raise as much money as we can for the TEDDY20 cause.

Teddy20 Supporting Children with Cancer is a charity based in Blandford Forum, Dorset. Our aim is to provide Emotional and Financial Support to children and young people suffering and undergoing treatment for Cancer.
