I've raised £500 to helping to raise funds for the teddy bear group which is a great local charity in our home town of buckie . by playing golf longest day.

Story
The Teddy Bear Group is a registered charity. The group receive very little funding from the local authority and rely heavily on fundraising throughout the year to provide a valuable service to the local area.
We cater for all needs. Children are refered to the group by Health Visitors, Social work and Education, for Social, Physical and Psychological reasons, restpite
as well as family difficulties.
Our specialised pre-school provision eases the transition to mainstream for many children, and can highlight areas where problems may arise in the future when
they start Nursery or school.
The longest day golf challenge.
Taking place in just over 4 weeks time, the Challenge will push golfers to the absolute limit as they take on four rounds of golf during one of the longest days of the year.
With one round taking roughly four hours, challengers will be playing from sunrise (4.30) through to sunset (21.21pm), using every minute of the 16 hours of daylight available to them.
Clubbing together a team of 12 , they will play 72 holes, take some 300 shots and cover a good 20 miles, as they fundraise to support a local charity .
We will be starting at cullen golf club at around 4.30 am and should be finishing the last round at buckpool golf club at around 10.30 at night .
There are 2 other local golf clubs helping us out in the challenge these are strathlene golf club and spey bay golf club .
We hope to get some great weather for this day and hope that you can come out and support that lads on this massive challenge.
