The TeddyRose Foundation has been set up in memory of our children, Teddy & Rose White.

Teddy was born at 21 weeks old in May 2017 and passed away in our arms 4 hours later and Rose was born sleeping at 41 weeks old in Sept 2018.

To say its been the worst 2 years of our lives is an understatement, we want to channel our energy and emotion into helping other family’s like us at such a difficult time in their lives.

Our first project is called the “cuddle blanket” which has originated from our own personal experience.

When Teddy & Rose were born, we wrapped them up in a blanket and when it was time to say goodbye, rather than leave the hospital empty handed, we scissor cut their blankets in half. We took half home with us and they kept the other half.

Ever since that day, my wife has slept with those blankets, they even come with us when we go on “holiday”. Our other children also love snuggling up with them to - it really does give us all some comfort knowing they have been physically wrapped around Teddy & Rose.

So now, we want to supply other bereaved families with a “cuddle blanket”. We have adapted the blankets so they can be separated in half, when it’s time for the family to say goodbye, the family keep one half and the baby is snuggled up in the other half. Just like we did with our precious babies.

We are currently supplying 'cuddle blankets' to 10 hospitals in the Midlands - The Eden Suite @ Heartlands, Good Hope, Birmingham Womens, City, Cov Warwickshire, Russells Hall, Dudley Manor, George Eliot, Worcester & The Childrens Hospital.

Our aim is to help support as many bereavement suites as possible.

The TeddyRose Foundation means we can keep the names of our babies going and give us something to put our sadness into.
