I've raised £250 to Teddy’s medication fund

Hi we are asking for any contribution, however small, for the ongoing veterinary care of our brave 9 year old rescue dog Teddy. He has suddenly become unwell and tests from the vets have shown that he will need daily injections of insulin along with other treatment to give him his quality of life back for the rest of his days.
Teddy is our much loved pack leader of a motley trio of rescue dogs. We rescued him 5 years ago direct from a home where he had been treated as a decorative accessory rather than a dog. He came to us about 2kg under weight, with no muscle tone as he had been left alone day and night and very rarely walked. His teeth and gums were a mess because of being only fed on soft leftovers and he was hyperstimulated in company because he never knew how long it would last.
Teddy settled into our home with delight once he realised that he would never be alone again. His muscle tone built up and he is the bravest and cheekiest dog we have ever had the pleasure to welcome into our family.
Teddy has helped to socialise many other rescue dogs in his time as he has such a zest for life and the confidence of a much bigger dog. The other dogs at home, and my teenagers, all respect Ted as a companion, playmate and protector. He may be the smallest dog in stature but he is the biggest in influence and personality.
We are raising money towards Teddys medication fund for his future health and happiness. We noticed over the last 10 days that Teddy was not 100% himself. He is half poodle and half shih tzu, and these breeds of dogs are susceptible to a condition called Cushings Syndrome along with diabetes. Teddy has had urine and blood tests today and has to start his insulin injections and regular blood tests from tomorrow morning. - not covered under vet insurance unfortunately.
Teddy has brought so much into the lives of so many through his boundless enthusiam and cheeky charm. He deserves to have the best opportunity to have good health for the rest of his days, and this will take twice daily insulin and all the other tests required to level out his endocrine system and pituitary gland function.
