I've raised £50000 to Fund manufacturing/provision of free prostheses in the Indian Ocean, integrate students in academia, provide equipment to visually impaired

Note: In your donation, you are encouraged to write a note to the benefactor who will be a student with a disability. A few words of encouragement from you will mean a lot to those individuals. If you are contributing anonymously, please include your initials at the end of the note.
I seek support from within my personal and professional network to contribute to supporting the young ethusiasts with disabilities to pursue their education in a supportive and inclusive manner in Mauritius.

Global Rainbow Foundation (https://grftrust.org/ ) is a charity trust in Mauritius which helps people with disabilities. It provides:
- free prostheses to amputees in the Indian Ocean
- free equipment e.g. phones and money checker to visually impaired and support students with free laptops and training on how to best use the equipment for their education
- free walking therapy and mobility therapy for individuals with prostheses
- free training to educate staff of other NGOs to support individuals with disabilities
- support autistic students
- employability of people with disabilities
- other training and services
This page has been set up with the purpose of raising funds to support students with disabilities in their education via GRF. Due to varying exchange rates, funds collected will be sent to GRF directly and all transfer costs will be incurred by me personally, including the difference in any fees taken by JustGiving.
The money will be spent directly on the purchase of materials, provision of equipment, and employability training/opportunities of people with disabilities and NOT be spent on any operational cost or salary, or expenses incurred by any staff of GRF.
Updates will be available every 6 months for the duration of 4 years on the use of the money raised or until the money raised has been fully spent, whichever is the earliest.
Thank you for your generous donation to this good cause.
