I've raised £300 to Support disadvantaged students in Cambodia. All donations will support Helping Hands to provide essential resources for the children.

The 3 of us are off to do a week of volunteer work with a UK based NGO, Globalteer. We will be working in a rural school in Cambodia, run by local people where volunteers have the opportunity to support disadvantaged students of various age groups with all subject areas. We will be putting our nursing and public health experience and skills to good use by taking our own sessions in key public health and hygiene.
We have self funded our trip. However would be grateful for any donations anyone would like to make towards our chosen charity and organisation. Any funds raised will support Helping Hands to provide food, uniforms, essential resources to support the education of the children and maintain the buildings used by the children.
As an example:
Just £1 can pay for 5 students to have breakfast!
Uniforms for students costs $15 (£11) per person.
$10 (£7.70) can pay for a first-aid box to be fully stocked for a month.
$12.50 (£9.62) pays for a student to receive our ‘full package’ for a whole month, including education, breakfast and health and social care.
$75 (£58) can pay for a Scholarship student to go to University for a month.
All money received will greatly support the wellbeing of these students. We would be so grateful if you could help us to help them.
Thank you
Telisha, Kiran and Jayne
