Tennis Revolution is on a mission to raise £750 for the Kirkton Community Sports Association, a collective of local sports clubs in Bathgate. This vibrant community includes the West Lothian Visually Impaired bowlers, Spring Grove Bowling Club, Bathgate Ski Club, and the Bathgate Fabb Club. These organisations are dedicated to breaking down barriers and facilitating connections among young people through shared interests, hobbies, and goals.

All of these clubs rely on the facilities at Kirkton Park; however, we face a significant challenge as the Local Authority has announced plans to close the pavilion. This space serves as our meeting point, equipment storage area, and venue for social events that help raise funds for our clubs. The bowling clubs even host Scottish Bowling Tournaments here, utilising its kitchen, toilets, and function room to make these events possible. Without this essential space, our activities would be severely impacted.

In response to this urgent need, we have united under the Kirkton Community Sports Association to apply for an Asset Transfer. As non-profit organisations, we require funding to maintain and operate the pavilion effectively. This is where your support comes in!

Tennis Revolution is excited to announce our initiative: 'Walk Your Way to Wimbledon.' As part of our 6th Birthday Celebrations and Club Championships on Saturday 17th May, we're kicking off a sponsored adventure:

🎯 GOAL: Walk, run, swim, or cycle a combined 386 miles—the distance from Bathgate to Centre Court at Wimbledon!

On the event day we will be walking as far as we can around Kirkton Park clocking up miles. Then before Wimbledon starts, Monday 30th June, players will be encouraged to walk, run, swim, or cycle, recording their activities to get to the combined team total.
